What We Offer
Making Footprints is a small, bespoke, PA (personal assistant) service, offering support to people with a variety of needs, including:
- Adults with learning disabilities
- Adults with physical disabilities
- Older people
- People with health-related needs
- Busy families (support not relating directly to childcare)
The support we offer is provided by an experienced female personal assistant (PA) who has worked with a wide variety of clients over the years. The time our clients spend with their PA can be used in a variety of ways, to suit their individual requirements. From companionship to cleaning, shopping to swimming, it's down to our clients to decide what form their support takes! We have received requests from busy mums wanting help for an evening with their household chores, through to older people asking for some support with their weekly shop! Whether it's one-off support or regular weekly support that's requested, we do our best to offer whatever help is required as and when it is needed.
By staying small not only are we are able to maintain an
exceptional quality of service, but we are also able to remain
constantly in touch with the people who matter most to us - our clients!
We are fortunate to be able to adapt our service offering to suit the
needs of our clients and can deliver bespoke support packages at their
request.
Making Footprints holds fast to it's roots within the field of learning disabilities, and offer supported holidays and 1:1 PA support at competitive rates during hours that often PA's are reluctant to work: at evenings and weekends. We aim to empower our clients by supporting them to
participate in social and leisure activities during the evenings and at
weekends, and where desired, to promote the formation of friendships in
small groups and developing social skills in a safe environment.
Making Fooprints will provide you with a PA who is fully insured, CRB checked and self-employed, to support you without the hassle of employing your own PA and without the uncertainty and cost of hiring an agency.
Our PA has both experience and a passion for what she does. She subscribes to corporate values: enthusiasm, empowerment and promotion of independence.
